Job interview tomorrow 1hr trip (got nothing else planned)... will take bonine because I usually sleep on such things but don't want to accidentally miss the stop. This is somewhere I could have been a year or so ago but 3rd shift... different job same place but day time hours.

Also had a story in the local paper about 3 homes destroyed & 4th damage by a kid playing with fireworks. :-( but sounds thankfully there were no casualties... the child did have burns on his arm but was treated and released. Praying people think safety, I know accidents happen to professionals too. I never got into buying my own fireworks though had seen a lot of 'shows' by people buying street ones, who hasn't.

The biggest fear down here is all the dryness we have had, although we finally got some rain. They are already preaching hard about not letting kids have any fireworks...

We've been getting a lot of rain here. I remember one place, think it was the 80's unless the 70's they were one of the ones that put on firework shows, either testing them didn't work or freak fire... can't remember for sure but they were professionals 'in the field' and had I think one casualty. It had to be the 80's... they went on to still do the scheduled firework displays. I got to work with pyrotechnics once during a play but wasn't anything compared to fireworks. Miss those days, performing & stage crew both. Especially when we'd go to nursing homes. The whole ambiance was changed by the time we left. :-)
